"Barbara Elizabeth Cressman, 83, slept quietly away, June 3, 2004, at 3:17 pm at the Titusville Area Hospital, to which she had just been admitted. A loving wife, mother and grandmother and a devoted churchwoman, Mrs Cressman will long be remembered for her strong commitment to many charitable causes, especially her commitment to improving the lives and conditions of impoverished children in the Washington, DC, area, where she lived before relocating to Titusville in 2002. She is survived by her son, the Rev Dr Barry E Cressman of Titusville; two daughters, Susan L Hasker of Reading and Pamela A Clees of Center Valley; their respective spouses, Lynn, Michael and Larry; and her grandchildren, Tye, Leigh and Toby Cressman, Geoffrey and Lauren Hasker and Sean Clees. Her husband, Harry, whom she married June 14, 1945, preceded her in death. Calling hours [are]...at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home. The funeral will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville, Sunday at 2 pm, with her son officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery."
